Brandy & Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine” is a classic. So to mess with it may be seen as a type of blasphemy. But I had this idea for a mashup in mind and just had to do it. To those who remember the Pure Garage compilation albums, Choice FM and had a Nokia 3210 — this one is for y’all.
This mashup was so clear in my mind that I kept wondering if it had already existed. Even now, I keep wondering if I’m going to come across this same mashup / remix and discover that it was first done 20 years ago.
