🎛️ Perfume - Cosmic Explorer (Random J Megamix)

Cosmic Explorer. The bastard child of Perfume’s discography.

This album is wonky. It’s not really an album at all. But still, I took on the task of creating a megamix of some of its songs. I included a couple of the B-sides which didn’t make the album, but probably should have. But even “Koi wa Zenkei Shisei”, “Display” and “Toumei Ningen” wouldn’t have been enough to save this album.

I also chose to do something which Perfume refuse to do — acknowledge the album mix of “Flash”.

This mix has kept my ass on a treadmill for fifteen minutes, when prior I’d be rolling off that shit after three. So this megamix be doin’ SUTTIN’.

Cosmic Explorer was a pretty inconsistent album. We all knew prior to its release that it was going to sound a mess given the radically varying quality of the singles — but the track order certainly didn’t help. Hopefully this megamix remedies that a little and gives some of the songs a bit more sparkle.
